We enjoyed our 2nd Annual Golf Outing and Potluck at the Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury on August 4th. The winning team consisted of Mike Petersen, Kimberly Petersen, Alan Petersen, and Sabrina Petersen. 

 

 

 

On Sunday, January 28th, 2024, we gathered in the evening to listen to Pastor Ed's presentation on his trip to the Holy Land in January 2023. We enjoyed seeing pictures and listening to his stories about where Jesus lived and preached. We finished the evening with a potluck dinner. Those in attendance were challenged to bring a dish from the 125th Anniversary Cookbook that was not one of their recipes. It was fun seeing the recipes come to life and listening to people talk about who's recipe they made.

For God's Work. Our Hands. Sunday 2023, we had our church service at the Colfax Park and then replaced wood on the park benches and cleaned the flower beds. Many hands and construction skills, made for light work :) Thank you to all those that helped and attended the service!

 

 

 

 

 

On Sunday August 6th, we held our 1st Annual Immanuel Lutheran Golf Outing at the Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury. We had a potluck lunch at noon and then the 11 golf teams teed off for a fun 9 holes at 1PM. All ages and even non-members of Immanuel joined us for a fun afternoon! Those that didn't golf enjoyed conversation on the patio. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 4th, 2024 as we will test our skills again.
